After being restricted to only the Tollywood audience from a long time, our cine folks are slowly opening their arms and focusing on neighbouring territories.
The nearest and potential filled region is the Kollywood circuit. Currently, talks are happening on two filmmakers and their presence in the Tamil circuit.
They are the duo of S S Rajamouli and Sekhar Kammula. Apparently, Rajamouli could make his identity with the film ‘Maaveeran’ and then ‘Ee’.
Within no time, his other old hits like ‘Chatrapathi’ also got dubbed and released in Tamil. Now, Sekhar Kammula is entering Kollywood with his movie ‘Anamika’.
The film is being touted as a bilingual and it has to be seen whether Kammula can also do like Rajamouli with his movie. The filmnagar circles say the Kollywood crowds like serious and content rich subjects. Since ‘Anamika’ is somewhat like that, he could strike a chord there.
Only time will unravel this suspense.
