Do you remember the critically acclaimed movie 'Baanam'? introducing Nara Rohit as hero, debutant director Chaintanya Dantuluri won critical acclaim with that flick and here comes his next with Brahamnandam's elder son Gautham. Titled 'Basanthi', trailer of this flick released by Mahesh and Tamanna is a big discussion now.
'Basanthi' is all about a college and after its name the film is titled that way. in fact, the flick is not just a love story between hero Gautham and his heroine from another community. This love story has a big backdrop than one expects, and trailer indicates that it is made with terrorism as a key element. Fighting against terrorism seems to be the sublime of this story.
'People with guns fighting on the society is called terrorism, but people without any weapon fighting against people with guns is called revolution', a dialogue said by Tanikella Bharani in the trailer is awe inspiring. Seems like 'Basanthi' is the film to look out for audiences who are looking for a difference in Tollywood.
