Happy Birthday to the 'Yevadu' girl

Telugu film industry should be heralded for launching numerous new comers. And one among them who is riding the success wave is none other than Sruthi Hassan, who is celebrating her birthday today.

Her fans in Andhra have already given her a huge birthday gift, the massive success of 'Yevadu'! The film, which saw a Sankranthi release, is still going strong and has given a tough competition to Mahesh Babu's '1 Nenokkadine'

But the young actor did face a lot of rejection initially. After making her debut in Tollywood, she faced numerous flops. She found stardom much later with Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh. And with Yevadu, she managed to capitalise on her successes.

Along with Tollywood, she has done commendable work in Tamil films as well. Moreover, 'Yevadu's success is not the only thing she will be celebrating this year. Her father, the multi-talented Kamal Hasan was conferred with the Padma Bhushan, as well.
