Bipasha Basu for Balayya!
Nandamuri Balakrishna's Legend shooting is nearing completion. The entire movie shooting is complete except for an item song. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the item song special as masses constitute more number of the actor's fans. The makers are reportedly in talks with Bollywood Black Beauty Bipasha Basu for the song. While the talks are still on and document is not signed. the makers say she is 'almost confirmed'. Bipasha Basu earlier acted in Takkari Donga beside Mahesh Babu. However the movie bombed at the box office and the actress did not get any more chances in Tollywood since then. So, Legend will be a comeback film for her. The audio release event of Legend will take place on March 7th at Shilpa Kala Vedhika. The movie is being readied for March 28th release on the occasion of Ugadi festival. There are too many expectations riding on the movie in fans and trade as well. VV Vinayak New Movie 'Alludu Srinu'
Ever since the blockbuster success of 'Naayak', ace director vv vinayak has not accepted any big hero's movie. Instead, he is currently directing a movie with Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, the son of Bellamkonda Suresh. Director Teja is working on a new project. The movie is titled 'Thappu' and will have new comers in its ranks as Teja does most of the time. Teja is conducting a talent search through his personal website www.Tejadirects.com. He almost completed the selection. Once the selection is completed, Teja is planning to start the regular shooting. He is planning to complete the entire shoot in 40 days. He prepared everything perfectly for the shoot and is confident of doing it. If he achieves this, the film will be the quickest shot film in the director's career. Lover boy image hero Siddharth's look completely changed for his new Tamil film "Kaaviya Thalaivan" and here is the first of Siddharth. As per the sources the movie is said to be a historical fiction film and it is being directed by Vasantabalan. Prithviraj, Vedhika and Anaika Soti are the other lead cast in the movie. Even before Chiranjeevi reached Ramanaidu Studios, Pawan Kalyan was there at Varun Tej's debut flick launch. While entering the pooja spot, Chiru greeted Pawan, and later he called his small brother to bless Varun by giving him 'Askhintalu'. It is fine till here, and Pawan left the spot abruptly as we all know. This incident became a huge discussion everywhere by conspicuously indicating that splits are quite deep inside family. Keeping our assumptions and analyses aside, let us see what many are thinking. After watching yesterday's things, people are sympathizing with Chiru and criticizing Pawan for his behaviour. Whatever might happen inside the family, Pawan is facing brickbats for his behaviour the other day. 'Pawan might have got bitter with Chiru, but why is that he will show that at Nagababu's son's debut movie launch? Is this occasion more important than Pawan's dissent?', an insider asked. Story: Arjun (Goutham), who always follows his heart and enjoys his graduation life with Abbas (Ranadir), Malli (Dhanraj) and Swathi. In a marriage event Arjun finds his love Roshini (Alisha Baig) and starts following her. But due to his good works Roshini comes to meet Arjun and that's how their friendship starts. In the meanwhile Babar gets arrested in Boarder and given to Hyderabad ATS Centre for Bomb blast enquiry. To make his leader Babar escape from Hyderabad Gaazi enters Hyderabad and plans to blast a main event with High level Led bombs. As Razzaq (Bhanu) gets arrested by regional Police Officer Ali Khan (Shayaji), Police gets to know about the plan. Meanwhile, Bhai Gaazi had another plans and attacks Basanti College and captures students as hostages. Will Roshini accept Arjun's proposal. How will Arjun escape his college friends? Will Babar released from Prison? Can Ali Khan help the hostage's forms the rest of the storyline. Star Performance: Goutham Raju is impressed with his performance in Basanti. He underplays his character very well. Hee needs to work slightly on her voice modulation. Alisha Baig is average and its difficult to understand whether she is happy or sad with her expressions. Ranadir is right choice for Abbas, He has the looks and the personality of the character.. Tanikella Bharini is justified his role with few promising lines. Terrorists were suffering from poorly written characters. Friend of Arjun Swathi has managed to put across her act pretty well Rest of the characters are fine in their limited roles. Techinical Team: If you are the kind who doesn't need much to feel thrilled, well, the director has tried pretty hard to present things in a convincing way. But how much he has succeeded in the efforts is the question here. Chaitanya Dantuluri's script lacks much energy and strength to take you along on a memorable ride. Evidently inspired from the Anwar and several hostage films already made in a variety of languages, Basanti is up not upto the mark. With nothing much happening on the story front, the focus is to keep the viewers hooked with some mad actions and dragged love scenes. The film goes something like this - two lovers, Arjun and Roshini, captured as hostages in Basanti College. They have to escape from group of terrorists before they kill their fellow friends. Soon, Arjun escapes the terrorists and challenges terrorists to kill them in Basanti College. Gaazi (Terrorist) keeps Roshini as a hostage. How Arjun takes on the terrorists to set free his lover and friends forms the remaining part of the narrative. Chaitanya's Basanti fails in grabbing the attention and making an impact. This time the movie fails not because of its story line but due to many other imperfections that speak loud. Although Chaitanya's execution of some sequences is first-rate, the forced second half is over powering. The movie fails to make an appeal because of its inconsistent pace in the second. Also at constant intervals you find sequences that just add to the run time and have no significance. Cinematography by Anil Bandari is good, the way he used locales must be appreciated. Major highlight of the film is Mani Sharma's Music, every scene in the film gets elevated with his BGM. The title track stands out among the rest. Editing of the film should have been lot better in the second half. Fight sequences are very prolonged. Production values of the film are fine. What Is Good: - Music

Rajamouli is known to be a workaholic and the ace director was fully aware about how to made others to work.The tough taskmaster once again came up with an innovative idea and he has launched a campaign called 'Star of the Week' which identifies the hard workers of the Bahubali team on weekly basis. The campaign had started one week back and the award goes to three technicians named Ghouse, Lagaan and Srinu. "Last week, when there was an internal shortage of manpower, these three artists stepped up to make sure shoot started on time. They have taken complete ownership of their work and given their heart and soul in managing thousands of junior artists during the war schedule. Actor Sarah-Jane Dias who will be seen this year in films like "O Teri", "Happy New Year" and "Angry Indian Goddesses" is taking western singing lessons these days for a reason. Creativity definitely helps a hero win many fans, but over-creativity will spoil what all he has earned in years. Same thing is happening with young hero Nikhil who is once a sought after among the young lot, but now scaring directors. After the super success of new comer Sudhir Varma directorial 'Swamy Ra Ra', it is almost a year now and there is no movie of Nikhil in theatres. He is of course shooting for 'Karthikeya' under another debutante's direction but that is not wrapped yet. Though Nikhil is much open to listening scripts from various directors, it seems like he doesn't want a Jr Raviteja image and letting off so many masala entertainers. He is expecting to do something that really makes sense and heightens his image, probably artistic films, says an insider. Is this not over-creativity? One should tend to create an image by doing films continuously first and then experimenting with roles and characterization. Story: The movie starts off with a song followed by the usual college scenes happening between a groups of friends. As usual Karthik (Santhosh Yadav) falls in love with Swetha (Manisha Yadav) are Engneering students. They both love each other & cross their limits as well. That makes Swetha pregnant. There ends the first half. Rest of the story is all about how the teenage lovers treat this issue - family member's perception towards this pregnancy - whether Karthik and Swetha 's love end up in marriage. Answer for all these questions comes in the form of heart breaking climax. Star Performance: Coming to Performances, The protogonist of the film Manisha Yadav and Santosh Yadav are just okay in their roles and failed to elevate the much needed scenes with their performances. Their chemistry in the film is fine. Arjun does a very good job. Veteran actors Poornima Bhagyaraj, Tulsi and Jayaprakash acted in crucial roles played to their potential. Techinical Team: The title of the film says it all, the basic storyline of the film targeted at youth. The story supposed to be inspired from real life incident. Screenplay of the film is fine. But the climax is major highlight of the film. But it sure does leave a feeling as you walk out, due to a few well written and executed sequences. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is adequate. A couple of melodies helped in establishing the mood. The climax song is major highlight and elevates climax to the core. Dialogues are should have been better. Editing by Anthony could have been better in the first half. Cinematography by Soorya.A.R is good. The production values of this film are decent. Dubbing of the film are okay. What Is Good: - Climax

The highlights and sidelights of the function are as follows. HIGHLIGHTS: * Mega heroes such as Chiranjeevi, Nagababu, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Sirish, Sai Dharam Tej attended the function. Mega brothers mother, Anjana Devi also attended the function. * Industry biggies such as K.Raghavendra Rao, Allu Aravind, Suresh Babu, VV Vinayak. hero Sunil,Surender Reddy and many others attended the function. * Chiranjeevi clapped the muhurtham shot. * Addressing to the gathering Chiranjeevi said, " It is because of you( fans) I achieved today's status. None of my 149 movies have got such a grandeur muhurtham launch as varun tej's movie. varun tej is quite handsome with 6.3 ft and I am jealous of his handsomeness. He has a great future. He is like my son. Nagababu has good interaction and affection towards fans. varun tej must be humble even if he goes for higher positions. I am thankful and grateful to everybody who attended this ceremony and offered blessings to Varun." SIDELIGHTS: * Though Pawan Kalyan attended the function he stayed just for 15 minutes only. He did not interact well with anybody in the function. * Chiranjeevi and Allu Arjun were seen in black shirts. Talking about this matter, Chiranjeevi, wittily, said Allu Arjun was a copy cat. In return Bunny admitted not only wearing shirts, but also in dances he was a copy cat of Chiranjeevi. Story: Rambabu (Sunil) is famous in his village for one thing, if he likes a girl as form of 'Pellichoopulu' she gets a very good alliance and her life is settled. Many girls parents keep visiting him for that luck. Meanwhile, he meets with a small injury and discovers he has brain tumor and only 10 days to live. With the villagers showing too much of sympathy, Rambabu leaves the village and comes to city and decides to do good for others by bashing up all the goons as he lives. He also meets Nandini (Esther) and likes her but doesn't want to proceed due to his health condition. However, a twist occurs and what happens from there forms the rest. Star Performances: Sunil is capable of showing good dance, humor, fights, emotions etc but somewhere he seems to be stuck trying to prove he is a hero. It is time he gets further clarity on his way forward. As far as this film is concern, he didn't bring out the best in him. Esther has got a very tempting face filled with raw native sex appeal. But trouble begins from below her neck where she is like a stuffed jute bag. She needs to tone herself up and curb her voluptuous oomph else packup time will come soon for her. Otherwise, she did her part properly in this film. Sayaji Shinde did his bit as required, Jayaprakash Reddy was brief. The likes of Vikramjit, Telangana Sakunthala, Raghu Babu, Sana, Srinivas Reddy were there to fill the gaps. Posani was not his usual eccentric self. But the one to watch out for was Prithvi. He was the major source of entertainment and his timing of punch dialogues is impeccable. Supreeth was standard. Technical Team: Story of the film is very thin. A timid young man from Bheemavaram town goes to Hyderabad after knowing he has only 10 days to live. He wants to do what gives him happiness and starts fighting with baddies in the city. But he remains alive after 10 days and will cook plans to save life after that. Movie has some inspirations from Shaadi Se Pehale (Bollywood Film) Alibaba Aradajanu Dongalu (1994), which is a sort of inspired from Hollywood's Short Term (1990). Even one does miss several interactions that the lovely couple share right through the film in a romantic film in here. Bheemavaram Bullodu is high on production values, has average songs and Decent locales. Except, in his third outing, Uday Shankar disappoints big time, both as a director and writer. The story just doesn't work. You neither feel for the characters, nor does the plot keep you hooked to your seats in anticipation. The music by Anup Rubens is a mixed bag. The Premalo Padanura song looks good on-screen, The Supermanula song is likable. Marthand K Venkatesh's editing should have been crisper. Santosh Rao's cinematography is neat. Anup Rubens background score works at times. Choreography is middling. Fights are major drawback in the film as they are long. Production Values of Suresh Productions are decent. What is Good: . Simbu Confirms Breakup With Hansika
Kollywood Actor Silambarasan aka Simbu has finally confirmed that he is single now and he has broken up with actress Hansika Motwani. There was a news that Simbu and Hansika are getting ready for marriage and after that another buzz is that Simbu moving close with her ex-lover Nayanatara. Now Simbu clarified all the rumors and issued a formal press statement about his status and his relationship with Hansika. Here is Simbu's press release statement!! "I had gone through enough in this relationship , and after much of thoughts invested into this, I here by declare that I am single now , and I have nothing to do what so ever with Hansika , and it is all the story of the past . I don't regret the past nor I am in a mood to discuss over the facts which had forced me to this discussion. This announcement is also made only to give clarity to my friends , associates , and my fans over my status . Call it a coincidence or what? It has been noticed the most heroes who work with ace-filmmaker S S Rajamouli face disasters immediately after they are done with the director's films. No doubt the heroes get the opportunity of their lifetime rather get to do blockbuster films with Rajamouli but thereafter their way towards success almost seems a farce. Amid reports that Chiranjeevi is going to be the next and last CM of Andhra Pradesh, Manchu Manoj's tweets have courted a controversy. Manoj posted on his micro-blogging page, "How to become a top politician even after people rejecting ???" Apparently, few websites wrongly interpreted Manoj's statements and blew it out of proportion in order to cook up a controversy. Reacting to those reports, Manoj made it clear that he was not shooting the question about one anyone in particular. He ruled it out as general question and not related to Chiru in anyway, though. Pawan Kalyan to clash with Ram Charan
Yes, You ready it right! Two top stars from the same family are eying the same slot for the release of their upcoming films. Suresh Productions and North Star Entertainment banners which are jointly producing the Telugu remake of 'Oh My God' starring Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh announced the release date as October 2nd. Currently, the pre-production work of the film is in full swing and Dolly of Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam and Tadakha fame is likely to direct the multi-starrer. Of course, An official announcement is awaited regarding the captain of the ship. On the other hand, Ram Charan is eying the same season for the release of his family entertainer under Krishna Vamsi's direction. The film is slated for October 1st release (Wednesday) to cash in on the Dussehra and Eid festival. Few months ago, The release dates of Atharintiki Daredi and Yevadu had become a big headache for the makers and the fans. The pre-production works for Pawan Kalyan, Venkatesh starrer "Oh My God" is currently under progress in Hyderabad. A joint production between D. Suresh Babu and Sharrat Marar under the Suresh Productions and Northstar Entertainment banners, the shooting is scheduled to commence in May and will be ready for a confirmed release on the 2nd of October 2014.
