No more Telugu Films: Samantha

Samantha, the most noted and Glamorous heroine of Tollywood wants to go back to her mothr tongue Tamil. Presently She starrted opposite Suriya in a tamil film Anjaan and she was awestruck with Suriya performance. "All of us have heard about his professionalism and that he's a gentleman, but after working with him, I realised he's much more than that. The humility with which he carries himself on the sets and how he performs in front of the camera, everything seems like a benchmark for me," she confesses. Early , this year Samantha caused a flutter by stating she wants to take a break from Telugu films to concentrate on her Tamil projects. The move seems to be paying off. "I love the direction in which Tamil cinema is heading these days. Recently, when I saw Goli Soda, I couldn't stop raving about it for a long time. I really like the fact that all sorts of films have their own space in Tamil. The offers that I got in Tamil were too tempting to let go. I'm in a happy space right now," she says. So is she putting an end to doing commercial films? "Not really. Most of my films in Telugu this year are big action entertainers. I'm eagerly looking forward to Manam. I've never worked so hard on my character. I think all of us (ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya) surprised ourselves while acting in the film. It'll make you smile in the end," she signs off.
